Living Laboratory

SIGMUND™ is the result of years of ´Best Practices´ in running one of the most respected and innovative behavioral health care organizations in the world. Psychoergonomic™ Design

The user interface, that is, what you see on your computer screen, is critical to users´ software satisfaction. The layout of the screen, the location of fields and buttons, the number of key strokes and clicks needed to get work done are all elements of the psychoergonomic quality of an interface´s screen design.

Sigmund´s software design team is composed of programmers and practitioners who design each screen to meet the unique workflow needs of different staff positions. The work demands of administrator, billing staff, admissions coordinators, social worker, psychologists, drug counselor, physician and psychiatrist all differ in important ways. The design of a screen to do treatment planning differs greatly from one that does medication prescribing or referral call tracking.
