Sigmund™ is an enterprise management software application for human service agencies. To meet your specific needs and preferences Sigmund offers two secure, reliable options: Client-Server and web based (ASP) Solution. Its features and performance reflect the experience gained employing a team of behavioral health practitioners in developing, producing, installing and supporting the system since its inception in 1988.

SYSTEM INTEGRATION

Sigmund was designed from the ground up as a single integrated system. This means that every core aspect of our software and architecture was developed from an original master blueprint. Sigmund was conceived of and developed as an enterprise behavioral health information system. We have never relied on or acquired third party vendors to provide central functionality. Rather, we have chosen to partner with industry leaders with specialized areas of expertise, such as Emdeon™ Business Services (Formerly WebMD™) and Business Objects (Crystal Reports™).

Sigmund was developed and continues to evolve as a single integrated source code architecture. This means that all features and functions are contained in one application which requires one log on. This approach results in seamless interoperability of functions and a high degree of overall stability and quality in the application. Clinical, billing and administrative data are combined effectively in the database architecture. All features and functions are provided through a set of common, standardized interfaces. This means that your staff will not have to learn many different software systems. It also means that your administrators can report across all aspects of their companies and programs. From a support standpoint, information services personnel are dealing with a single vendor that has supported its products since their inception.

Conversely, we do recognize that system interfaces and interoperability are a necessity. To that end we already support numerous specialized interfaces to various systems as well as state and payer-specific reports. We also offer HL7 compliant interface development services through our standard engines and welcome partnerships with other complimentary technology vendors.
